My Little Black Dress!

Whether it be for a night on the town, having fun at a club, or mingling with people at a soiree, every girl can count on that little black dress to make her look fabulous. When she enters, all eyes are on her. Best part is you can change your accessories and suddenly the dress can go from casual to fancy, or flirty to sexy. Totally inspired by great fashion & a mastercard commercial ha-ha!

Lately, I see many commercials listing prices of items and such in sequence following by something that makes life easier or in their words "priceless". So it got me thinking about all the great stuff we have in second life that can at times be hard on the wallet. Then there are also some amazing finds for cheap or free that can be just as nice as some of the full priced items we love. However, no matter if it was pricey or a total bargain, having your avatar look and feel beautiful = totally priceless!

She Wore An Itsy Bitsy Cute Bikini

It was an itsy bitsy teen weeny...

You know the rest of the song! If you don't then just look it up, it's kinda cute. I had this song in my head recently and it got me into a "fun in the sun" kind of mood so I went into my "closet" and dug out some of my favourite swimwear. It's from Whippet & Buck and I got the whole fatpack because you can't have just one color choice obviously ha-ha! I visited the beach and struck a pose to show off these cute bikinis. Lastly, there's a picture of this cute artilleri retro like bikini that my friend Chill gave me from the gacha festival. Now I'm off to soak in the sun some more. Girlie Sailor

Ahoy Matey!

Today I was inspired by summer and nautical themed stuff. I rummaged through my inventory and found this cute dress I got in a hunt, that fit perfectly within my vision. From there I decided on a "Girly Sailor" type nautical look. I paired the dress with cute navy flats, a really sweet hair-do with a cute bow and added a bold red lipstick to add a splash of color. This look turned out better than I had imagined. Alright now this pretty lady is off to sail the virtual seas!

Just Chatting

Who doesn't like a good conversation?

Well if someone doesn't that's their issue ha-ha! I know one of my favorite things to do is relax outside while talking to a friend on the porch. Now for those of you saying you don't have a porch for conversing & relaxing, well never fear because Second Spaces is here! It's owned by the very sweet Elle Kirshner and has so many amazing items for your home. She created this wonderful little set up called the Conversation Porch. I was lucky enough to grab it during the skipping stones hunt, but luckily the item wasn't exclusive to the hunt therefore you can go ahead and pick up one today! Enjoy :)

Oh and that I actually was able to complete the whole thing! Some people want to continue going either because they started late or because they want more than just 6 days *cough* Marnix. lol

The last topic for this year's challenge that applies to me is:
If you're a veteran.... Did you find this year to be harder or easier than previous years? Did you have fun? What did you get out of it this time around? Do you think you'd do it again?

For me it was not harder because to me the challenge itself doesn't seem very difficult. Maybe because I like challenges lol. What I got from the experience this time around was the will to blog more often, and it finally sunk in that I don't need to always have elaborate creative posts just write. Of course I will do it again for as long as I can. It's a wonderful challenge and so worth doing. It's even given me inspiration to start up some blog challenges myself so stay tuned for that.

I Was Just Thinking - BBBC 2010 #5

That this blogger challenge rocks!

Today's topic is pretty easy. Just write whatever is on your mind. I have too many things on my mind lol but I decided to write about one that will appeal to all or at least most people.

SL decorating! I have always loved decorating and watching design shows etc... I grew up in a home where my mom was continually moving furniture around and sprucing things up with new coats of paint.

Now in SL if you have some land or even rent a home you can have so much fun decorating. There are tons of great stores in world that have furniture, decor/accessories, and of course prefabs aka houses or skyboxes.

My all time fave places right now are Molto Bene, The Loft, Lalicious Designs, What Next and so many more but my brain can't think of them all right now. What's great is the low prims, great quality and great prices of each item. From small homes to large ones, from family oriented to couples stuff you name it they have it!

One of my fave feeds to look at it is http://hgslfeed.com/ because a lot of my fave creators post there and also you get to see a range of different items and events going on in the decorating part of the virtual universe. Anyways enjoy the feed, they have a flickr group too where you can find out about great stuff through pics posted. Now go decorate :)
